outh Flag Football - Registration is underway for Youth Flag Football. The league will have 2 divisions. Boys & Girls in Grades 1st & 2nd, and Boys & Girls in Grades 3rd & 4th this coming school year. The program will run on Mondays beginning Sept. 14th and runningthru Oct. 12th at the following times: Grades 1st & 2nd...4:45PM-5:30PM and 3rd & 4th Grades...5:30PM-6:15PM. All games will be played at Theiler Park. The cost is $25 per player and includes mouthguard, jersey, and flages. Volunteer coaches are needed to run the program. If there are no coaches the program will not run. Sign-up no later than 6:00PM Friday, August 28th. This is a hard deadline as we need to order t-shirts and mouthguards. As a replacement for the 5 year old age group the Recreation Department will be running (2) 5 yr old Flag Football Mini Camps in September. Dates and times have not yet been set. The mini camp will focus on the basics of flage football such as equipment, pulling flags, catching and running. This will be in preparation for the next group of players for next season. The mini camps will be free of charge so stay tuned for further details.
